CISRI has 22 large and medium-sized printing equipment at present. It is expected to build a capacity of 43 printing equipment in 2022. Equipped with complete capabilities including heat treatment, wire cutting, polishing, surface treatment and performance testing, CISRI has undertaken a number of scientific research projects for additive manufacturing including national and provincial and ministerial level key R&D plans, international cooperation projects, civil aircraft projects, science, technology and industry support for national defense, as well as research and development of additive manufacturing of parts and components of national defense equipment such as large aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, advanced aero-engines with high thrust-weight ratio, and advanced aerospace engines.
